Hi all, I'm really new to this so if this sounds stupid, let me know nicely please?
Here is my deal, From what I can tell, if you ignore someone, they will know you are ignoring them if they look in there ignore settings? Well, if I'm trying to ignore someone, why do I want them knowing I'm ignoring them?

It might be so that they know that you don't want to talk to them, and to tell them they can't contact you. So they don't try and try to contact you, but can never get through, and they don't have a clue why. I'm not really sure myself, but that's what I think.

talking of the ignore feature, wouldn't it be fun if you were ignored and the other person didon't know about it?
i know it will never happen, but i don't really think people take to kindly when they know they are ignored by someone
I actually wish that instead of having to check your list to see if someone has put you on ignore, you would actually get a return qn letting you know that the person you have just sent a qn to is ignoring you. Sometimes you can send several qn's to a person and not know why they are not responding. Finally it dawns on you to check your ignore settings to see if you are being ignored by that person. But I would rather know right away.
yes, i agree with that myself, i'm always wondering if someone has ust ignored me for no reason and didn't know that, or at least know if that person is ignoring me with out having to go a whole new page
